John Galleazzi, MBA
Currently, Mr. Galleazzi works to develop methodologies for hospitals to use in assessing community health improvement needs and in developing corresponding community benefit initiatives. In addition, John works with Maryland Hospital Association and Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission to develop a framework for evaluating legislation-required community benefit reports.
From 2001 until 2005, Mr. Galleazzi served as the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, integrity and audit of the school’s finances. As CFO, Galleazzi implemented new financial control and reporting mechanisms resulting in decreases operating costs, improved revenue recognition procedures and increased fund balances in the school’s accounts. He represented the School of Medicine in enterprise-wide resource management system planning and implementation.
Mr. Galleazzi received his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and received his Masters in Business Administration from St. Louis University with a concentration in Management Science and Finance.
